Description
This is my second theme I've used with rainmeter. The theme was arranged for a 1920x1080 laptop so if you have different screen resolutions you can move them any way you wish. I made this Halo 4 UNSC theme because there's not a lot of halo themes out there and my laptop has red led lights so i made my theme red. I am running this on widows 10. you can change the colors of the theme through various methods like photoshop or gimp studios. I am not the creator of this theme. EDITS: All of the tech-a and the left and right honeycomb buttons work and can be customized if you know how to. (i got tips from youtube. [note] the show and hide buttons on the tech-a will show or hide your toolbar. The hide button IS NOT the auto hide function found in the taskbar properties, this will turn your task bar completely off and will not show it again until you reboot your system using the show button). The ONI logo at the bottom of the screen is the start orb button. The recycle bin shows the halo heroic shield and when there's something in the bin the image changes to the legendary logo. The cog calendar on the left and system cogs on the right side of the layout can open and close showing or hiding the info in the red box if you click the red round outter edge of the cog. the links above the ps2 emulator button all work and can be edited to what every you want to. I didn't default the user info box on the upper left theme but can easily be changed in photoshop. F.Y.I. if the fonts don't load i.e. the halo font in the clock in the upper right of the theme doesn't load you may have to open the rainmeter skin folder and open the halo clock folder, then open the resources folder, then open the fonts folder, then open and install the fonts in this folder and then reset rainmeter then fonts will be there.
The wallpaper is a revolving HD UNSC loading screen recorded from Halo 4. I used the program Stardock 8 dreamscapes (the .avi unsc video is included in the theme pack under the extras\apps\stardock folder. stardock is a $10 paid app but has a 30 day free trial. you can use and combine filters which I used a red filter to turn the logo from blue to red. If your doing this on a laptop like i am i ran into a problem early on with dreamscapes than once i opened a game or closed the screen the video was paused or not loaded once i opened the screen again so I'm gonna post some settings options so that the video will always be running when the screen is open. First things first is open stardock and open the settings cog will in the upper left screen and under folders add the folder that you have your video loaded in if your keeping using the video folder in this theme the file path is C:\Documents\Rainmeter\skins\halo unsc\Extras\Stardock\Dreams. I'd suggest you take that video and put it in your video folder cuz the video file will tend to disappear without warning for some odd reason. If its in your videos folder its easy to find and it wont randomly disappear. Once you loaded your dreamscape, open the stardock options under the performance tab make sure the automatically pause when on battery option is off unless you wanna save your battery when your not plugged to your charger. Next in the stardock settings under the advanced tab unchecked the box that says pause dream when windows are maximized. Next go to your computer settings in the start window go to system\personalization\themes\themes settings\ in the my themes area that has your wallpapers and save the theme. These settings worked for me.

Halo 4 UNSC rotating logo video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=wb5sHX… ( just in cause the video isn't there just use free online video converter that lets you use links. just make sure your final converted file is an avi video in order for dreamscapes to use it. so you may have to convert it to mp4 first then convert again to avi depending on which converter site you use. Oh and BTW this video loop has slight beeping that will also play if its your wallpaper theme. It's not really noticeable when its just on your desktop but you'll differently notice it once you plug in some speakers or headphones so to avoid this use a video converter that allows you to change the audio settings to mute the beeping in the original youtube video.
